Job Description

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent training
• NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Level II or III certification in Fire Alarm Systems
• 2-5 years of experience in fire alarm systems, preferably with experience in fire suppression system installations • Strong understanding of fire alarm systems and
components
• Ability to read and interpret fire alarm blueprints and schematics
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve fire alarm problems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Thorough knowledge of fire alarm system codes and standards, including NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm Code) •
Understanding of fire suppression system components and installation techniques
• Understanding of fire protection principles and practices
